UX design for ERP & business software
ERP that people like to use.
I design complex business software – from user research and workflows to the design system and its implementation.
Intro
I'm Johannes Klein, Senior Enterprise Product Designer in Bonn.
Since 2018 I have been the Lead Product Designer of a cloud-based ERP – with several desktop clients, mobile apps and add-ons. I work where it gets complex: many data types, many roles, many processes. My goal is software that makes experts faster instead of slowing them down.
What I stand for
I work best with product teams that develop their software for the long run – not with one-off redesigns that nobody maintains afterwards.
Good enterprise UX is invisible: it saves clicks, prevents errors and builds trust in the numbers.
Services
What I do for ERP teams.
- 01
UX concepts for ERP & specialist applications
Information architecture, workflows, forms, lists and dashboards – designed for people who work in them all day.
- 02
Design systems
Component library, tokens, rules and documentation – maintained with AI support. The result: features ship up to 40 % faster, with a consistent and cared-for experience.
- 03
User research & process understanding
Interviews and observation in daily work: who does what, where does it hurt, what really matters? Decisions based on evidence, not opinion.
- 04
Implementation support
Handover, reviews and quality assurance together with development – so that what is designed is also what ships.
