Privacy policy
This policy explains which personal data is processed when you visit this website and which rights you have.
1. Controller
Johannes Klein Sertürnerstrasse 4 53127 Bonn Deutschland E-mail: mail@johannes-klein.info Phone: 0174 5823434
The controller within the meaning of Art. 4 No. 7 GDPR is the person named above. No data protection officer has been appointed, as there is no legal obligation to do so.
2. Overview
This website is a static presentation. No cookies are set, no analytics or marketing services are used, no forms are offered and no third-party content is loaded. To display the page in a suitable language, your browser reads its language setting locally; this value is not transmitted to a server. If you choose the language yourself using the language switch, your browser stores this choice locally (localStorage) so that the site appears in that language on your next visit. This storage is technically necessary to implement your explicit choice (§ 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG); a consent banner (“cookie banner”) is therefore not required. Beyond that, nothing is stored on your device and nothing is read from it.
3. Hosting and server log files
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). When the pages are accessed, the host processes technically necessary connection data in server log files, in particular: IP address, date and time of the request, requested page or file, amount of data transferred, HTTP status code, referrer URL as well as browser type and operating system.
Purpose: delivery of the website and ensuring stability and security (e.g. defence against attacks). The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and efficient operation). The data is stored only as long as necessary for these purposes; the specific retention period depends on the host’s settings. I do not combine the data with other data sources.
A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR exists with the host. Processing in the USA is possible. The transfer is based on the provider’s certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision of the EU Commission) and, additionally, on EU standard contractual clauses. 4. Fonts and media
The font used (Inter) as well as all images and logos are delivered from the same server as this website. No connection is made to Google Fonts or other third parties.
5. Contacting me
If you contact me by e-mail or telephone, I process the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, content of the enquiry) to answer your request. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if the enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for its purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
6. External links
This website contains links to external websites (e.g. partners and references). When you click a link you leave this website; the respective operators are solely responsible for the data processing there.
7. Your rights
Within the framework of the statutory provisions you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR) insofar as it is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR). To exercise your rights, an informal message to the e-mail address above is sufficient.
8. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The competent authority for the controller is: Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen Kavalleriestraße 2–4 40213 Düsseldorf https://www.ldi.nrw.de
9. Encryption
This website is delivered over an encrypted connection (HTTPS/TLS). You can recognise this by the lock icon in your browser’s address bar.
